Magellan Moore
Executive ChefMagellan studied under renowned Chef David Teztloff at G. Michael's. After 5 years of training, Chef Magellan accepted the role as Sous Chef at Brookside Golf and Country Club, working under Executive Chef James Kluesner. Chef Magellan then accepted the Sous Chef position at Mezzo Italian Kitchen and Wine. A short four-months post opening, he was promoted to Executive Chef. While in this position, Chef Magellan assisted in the development of a second concept, the Hubbard Grille, as well as over-seeing a second Mezzo location. After 13 years on the Columbus culinary scene Chef Magellan is still focused on one thing, producing great food. We are proud to have him as a part of our family.
Chuck Solt
Executive Sous ChefChuck is a graduate of the culinary school at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Academy of Culinary Arts. After a 6 month externship at Handke's Cuisine under certified Master Chef Hartmut Handke, he accepted a position at the world-renowned Biltmore Estate's Stable Café in Ashville, North Carolina. Chuck moved back to Ohio in June 2007 and worked under distinguished Chef David Teztloff at G. Michael's for 5 years. Chuck also attended the DCT International Hotel & Business Management School in Vitznau, Switzerland where he completed a culinary course dedicated to cheese and chocolate. He worked as an Executive Chef and Sous Chef at the Walnut Grill in Pittsburgh, and developed the full service menu for Holy Smokes BBQ in Gahanna. We are happy to have him as part of our family.
